Hello! My music lovers! This blog is about songs that I enjoy greatly through my life and hope you do as well. I am a music history buff, and music makes memories for life. I am a follower of great music and the best DJs from my lifetime, Casey Casem and Rick Dees. I followed their top 40 platform for years. My love of music started in 1988. The first number 1 song I ever heard through Americsn Top 40 was Def Leppards ” Love Bites”. That was October 1, 1988. What a great start. I thank Casey for creating a love of music for me early in life. I am amazed by the popularity of pop music was then but I’m astounded how it is now . My first memory was coming home from church, going to my bedroom and turn the radio on and start listening with the great attention of who is going to be number one. I wrote each singer or group on an index card with each song and the number they landed on for each week until I collected over 5000 cards. My dream was to become the next CaseyCasem. So welcome to my first blog of hopefully a daily blog to keep you updated of what songs meant to me. Thank you all! Love your music and spread the love!
